I had the opportunity to speak at a meeting with the NC Home Builder’s Association (NCHBA). This is an excellent organization that represents home builders and developers in the state of North Carolina. The NCHBA is made up of hundreds of men and women who collectively maintain our housing industry. This organization greatly benefits North Carolina by creating a stronger housing industry, which in turn provides a variety or social and economic benefits to citizens. The Home Builder’s Association also does a very good job of policing their own standards in the housing industry.
Additionally, this organization is one that represents the interests of a lot of North Carolinians, included in this are people who work in the housing industry and those who are prospective home owners. Increases in home ownership and construction jobs in our state would both be hugely beneficial to the economy for obvious reasons. I look forward to continuing to work with the NC Home Builder’s and other groups in improving the North Carolina economy.
