An article in the Winston-Salem Journal by Arthur Laffer and Stephen Moore (found here), goes into detail on the growth of the economy in North Carolina. Low- tax business friendly states are on a promising path towards economic growth that is already underway in many states, ours included. According to new Census Bureau data, the Metropolitan areas of North Carolina, Charlotte and Raleigh, are among the top ten fastest growing areas in the country. Over the last few years, the lowering of taxes and the rolling back of over-regulation has helped both our small businesses grown and has also encouraged other companies to come to North Carolina. This brings jobs to the state, and that is my primary goal as your representative.
