The Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery of Fayetteville, NC has been in dire need of additional structures and most importantly an enclosure. Our veterans and their loved ones deserve the proper infrastructure to conduct an appropriate funeral and burial that they deserve for their esteemed service to this g
reat nation. Their sacrifices, on behalf of the United States, secure our enjoyed freedoms and liberties. For these reasons, I introduced an amendment which successfully passed as Senate Bill 944. This bill authorized and committed $200,000 of non-general funds towards much needed improvements to the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.
